Ahmad Jamal has been around for a while and I'm a little ashamed to admit I'm just learning about him. American jazz pianist, he was one of Miles Davis' favorite pianists. That's all I'm going to write. Check out the links and check out the videos below.

In my opinion, not enough people are familiar with the contribution to jazz piano which Ahmad Jamal has made...I'm a long-time fan of his and am happy to say he has been a big influence on me...many great recordings...Ahmad's Blues...Live at the Pershing...Awakenings...those are 3 of my all-time favorites...I'm hoping to see him again in Seattle in August...he still plays great!..if you haven't ever checked him out, check out any of these 3 albums for sure!
